He is a Swiss/Dutch national and holds a degree in Social Sciences from the University of Amsterdam and a MBA from the Rotterdam School of Management/Erasmus University.

  Sofie Qidenus
Sofie Qidenus, General Manager, Marketing & Sales, Finance

Her business studies gave Sofie Qidenus valuable insights into the workings of the business world. While working in promotions, marketing and sales at "Young Enterprise Media GmbH", as well as in marketing and sales at "Ogilvy" and "Tele 2", she was able to accumulate valuable practical experience and considerably expand her marketing abilities. Sofie Qidenus’ most important business-leadership skills were honed as the sole event organiser of the Spring Ball at the Vienna Kursalon in 2004. A major ball with as many as 4,800 paying guests, she bore sole responsibility for all financial and organizational aspects of the event. Her activities ranged from financial planning and billing, to marketing and sales, legal matters, catering, security, programming, plus communications with internal and external partners – in other words, co-ordination in its entirety.
 
 
 
 
  Alfred Jakes

In 1961, Alfred Jakes began work in industrial plant-maintenance for the Jenbacher Werke. As of 1970, Alfred Jakes was employed at SIEMENS Innsbruck, where he was involved in the production of specialised electro-acoustical systems. Three years later, he transferred to SIEMENS Pretoria, South Africa, where he was responsible until 1983 for the repair of electronic testing equipment and was a Master of Receiving Control Systems for electronic components and manufacturing. In 1988, Alfred Jakes moved back to Vienna, where he worked for Laborchemie Vienna in the maintenance and development of analysis equipment. In 1990, Alfred moved over to Witronic Wien and the manufacture of microprocessors for elevator controls, where he also becomes a Master of Manufacturing & Quality Controls. Alfred Jakes has been an independent businessman since 1999.

Vitus Boesch is currently studying Communication Economics at the FH-Wien and since the beginning of 2007 responsible for Marketing and software development for the newly founded QiScan RBS RoboticBookScan division.
Vitus previously gained experience in the field of IT and Economics as a successful startup entrepeneur at age 15 and through different traineeships in Austria and abroad.

As chairman of the Österreichische Donaukraftwerke AG, Insolvency Manager of Konsum Österreich and C.E.O. and Board Chairman of the private Austrian mobile telephone company, max.mobil, Hansjörg Tengg gained an incredible wealth of experience in conducting negotiations, attaining successful outcomes and making visions a reality. He has since become primary shareholder of "smart technologies Management-, Beratungs- u BeteiligungsgesmbH". The combination of the aforementioned business fields and his existing personal network, make him an ideal partner for Qidenus GmbH.
 
 
 
 

  Dr. Franz Ferdinand Eiffe
Internationalisation, Marketing & Sales

After an international career spent in the EDP field and several years of experience as C.E.O. and Finance Director for NCR Germany and Chief of NCR Japan, he became a special representative for GRUNDIG AG, Nuremberg, FRG. He subsequently became C.E.O. of OGUSSA GmbH, Vienna, with special responsibility for finance, administration and industry. From 1989 until 1991, he was Director of Business Acquisitions for the Austrian Industries AG, Vienna. Until 2005, we was acting partner with the GRANVILLE Management GmbH, Vienna. Since February, he as been assisting Qidenus GmbH in its internationalisation activities.
 
 
 
 
  Dkfm. James Van Sickle

In 1967, James Van Sickle completed his studies in commerce at the then World Trade University in Vienna and began working for the Benda-Lutz Werke, Traismauer. In 1972, he became head of the family drilling company. After this individual proprietorship was converted to an LLC in 1976, he was able to achieve almost a threefold increase in oil output through use of new technologies and discovery of new wellheads. In 1989, James Van Sickle sold 75% of the business to Austria Mineralöl GmbH, a subsidiary company of the Gaskoks Group, later Bank Austria Holding, remaining as C.E.O. In 1989, James Van Sickle was awarded the Golden Medal of Honor for Services to the Republic of Austria. In 1990 came the founding of the Walter Wiederkehr GmbH, realty development, leasing and sales. In 1996, Van Sickle sold his remaining shares in Van Sickle GmbH to the OMV and gave up his managerial responsibilities. Since 1982, James Van Sickle has been a member of the Vienna Rotary Club and District Representative of the Rotary Youth Service for multi-country districts 1910 and 1920 ( Austria, Croatia, Hungary, Slovenia, Czech, Slovakia). Van Sickle provides consultation services to the operations team of Qidenus GmbH at regular meetings, especially with regard to financial matters.
